so i got junk mail from planned parenthood today.
god knows why, i've never given them my address.
now here's the issue. i usually support this organization, BUT.
this letter opened with something similar to: "If you are like most people, you are probably worried about 12 year old girls having sex."
i take HUGE offence to this bit of sexism from a normally good organization. why am i not concerned about boys having sex?
of course, we have to protect innocent girls from their own sexuality. those evil boys will get them! boys who obviously can't control themselves and are therefore not worth worrying about. in fact, they should probably be encouraged!!
anyway, i'm pretty irritated by that piece of mail. i almost would've given them money, too.
